Chicago Crucible was formed in 2009 on Chicago Illinois's near north side by Lloyd Mandelbaum. After graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago Lloyd gained a wide knowledge base by working in many foundries before establishing Chicago Crucible. Now Chicago Crucible continues to grow both by expanding its resources with new equipment and facilities and by collaborating with many of Chicago's metal artists. Driven by an openness to new and better developments in the field of fine art foundry, Chicago Crucible is continually innovating to deliver the finest cast art work for it's clients.
